Translation Services

This page exists to get you to the right place in one click. Our translation services are organised by document type, because that is how submissions are assessed — a visa officer is not checking whether you bought premium service, they are checking whether the Nikah Nama translation matches the passport.

If you are unsure, send a photograph on WhatsApp to +92 349 9343134 and we will tell you which route applies before quoting.

Three certification levels, and which one your submission needs

Most confusion about translation services in Pakistan is really confusion about these three words. Read your instruction letter and match it here.

Plain translation

An accurate translation with no accompanying declaration. Fine for internal use, or for reading a document you have received. Not accepted by visa offices or universities.

Certified

A signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy attached to the translation, naming the translator and confirming the translation is complete and accurate. This is what UKVI and USCIS ask for, and what most university admissions offices want. Full detail on the certified translation page.

Notarized

Certification plus a notary public confirming the translator's signature. The notary verifies who signed; they do not check the translation. Canadian IRCC applications commonly need this extra step. We coordinate it through third-party notaries — see notarized translation assistance.

And a fourth word: sworn

A sworn translator is appointed by a court in the destination country. Germany, France and Spain maintain such registers. A translator based in Pakistan cannot be sworn for those jurisdictions, and no agency here can honestly offer it. If your letter says "sworn" and names a European country, tell us — we will explain the actual route rather than sell you something that will not clear. See what "certified" means to different authorities.

Language pairs

Over twenty pairs, with Arabic, English and Urdu as the working core. Right-to-left scripts are rebuilt properly rather than mirrored. Names go into katakana for Japanese and Hangul for Korean.

The complete list is here.

A single-page document is normally ready the next working day when it is not sent as an urgent job. Urgent 24-hour delivery runs 1.5x to 2x standard; same-day is 2x, subject to capacity. Certification and notarization are quoted with the job. The full rate card, with the factors that move a quote, is here.

Attestation fees — HEC, IBCC, MOFA, embassy — and notary charges are paid by you, directly to those bodies. They are not in our prices and we do not mark them up. Courier, where you want a hard copy delivered rather than collected, is quoted once we have checked the charge with the courier service.

How long each service takes

A single-page document is normally ready the next working day. That covers most CNIC pages, birth certificates, police character certificates and single degrees.

Multi-page and multi-document work is quoted with its own timeline once we have seen the contents, because the variable is rarely page count — it is whether the pages are typed or handwritten, and whether stamps are legible. A full Gulf employment pack of six typed documents can move faster than one faded manual Nikah Nama.

Notarization adds days rather than hours, because it depends on a third-party notary's availability rather than on us. Build that into your deadline before you commit to a submission date.

We would rather decline a same-day job than accept it and rush the second read, which is the check that catches name and date errors.

Where translation sits in the attestation chain

Ordering a translation before you know its place in the chain is how people end up paying attestation fees twice. The sequence generally runs: issuing body, then HEC or IBCC depending on the document, then MOFA, then the destination embassy. Where your destination accepts one, a MOFA apostille replaces the embassy leg entirely.

Read the relevant attestation guide before commissioning anything, and check what your destination requires. It costs you nothing and it is the single cheapest way to avoid the most expensive mistake in this process.

Where we work

Walk-in service at two offices, and remote service for the rest of Pakistan.

What we do not do

  • No attestation. HEC, IBCC, MOFA and embassy attestation must go through those bodies.
  • No representation at government offices.
  • No credential evaluation. WES, ECA and similar assessments are separate services.
  • No sworn translation where a destination country requires a court-appointed translator.
  • No guarantee that an authority will accept a submitted document. Nobody can honestly offer that.

Frequently asked questions

Which translation service do I need for a visa application?

Almost always a certified translation, meaning the translation comes with a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy naming the translator. Check your instruction letter for the words notarized or sworn, because both change the route: notarized adds a notary confirming the signature, and sworn requires a court-appointed translator in the destination country, which a Pakistan-based translator cannot be.

Can you translate all the documents in one visa file together?

Yes, and it is both cheaper and safer. Translating a complete file as one job means names, dates and spellings are made consistent across every document, which is precisely what caseworkers check. Send the full set and we will quote it as a single job with one timeline.

Do you translate documents into languages other than English and Urdu?

Yes. We work in over twenty language pairs, including Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Hindi, alongside Pakistani languages such as Pashto, Sindhi and Punjabi. Availability for less common pairs depends on translator capacity, so confirm before committing to a deadline.

Is a plain translation without certification ever enough?

For reading a document you have received, or for internal business use, a plain translation is fine. For anything being submitted to a visa office, university, employer or court, it is not: those submissions require certification at minimum, and sometimes notarization on top.
