Translation Services in Lahore

Every other result you are about to click will imply it has an office near you. We do not, and starting with that is more useful than making you find out later. Our translation services in Lahore are delivered remotely from Islamabad — documents by WhatsApp, translation back digitally, signed hard copies by courier.

Professional translation with clear pricing before work starts.

Certified document translation for Lahore clients, handled remotely from Islamabad by WhatsApp with courier delivery, at the same published rates as walk-in work.

We are not in Lahore. Here is exactly how this works.

  1. Send photographs on WhatsApp to +92 349 9343134. Whole page, every stamp and seal, right to the edges. No cropping, no filters, good light, flat surface. Include your passport photo page — your name must match it character for character.
  2. Get a fixed quote and a date before any work begins. If your route to the destination country looks wrong, we tell you at this point, not after payment.
  3. Translation and second read. Translated, then checked against the original a second time specifically for names, dates, numbers and stamp text.
  4. Delivery. Digital file first, within the quoted turnaround. Signed hard copies with the Certificate of Translation Accuracy go by courier to your Lahore address, with the charge confirmed once we have checked it with the courier.

Messages arrive at any hour. Replies come Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Why remote is not a downgrade for most documents

The thing that decides whether a translation is accepted is not where it was produced. It is whether the names match the passport, whether the dates are rendered correctly, whether every stamp and seal has been transcribed rather than skipped, and whether a valid Certificate of Translation Accuracy is attached with contact details the receiving office can verify.

None of that requires you to be in the room. A typed degree, a printed police character certificate, a NADRA computerised birth certificate — these photograph cleanly and translate exactly as well from an image as from the original.

When you should use a Lahore office instead of us

There are real cases where a local provider is the better answer, and pretending otherwise would waste your time:

  • Your document is handwritten, faded or damaged. Manual Nikah Nama forms, older provincial records, ink that has bled. A translator needs the physical page. Photographs lose exactly the detail that matters, and no amount of resending fixes it.
  • You need it in your hand today. A courier still has to travel. If your submission is this afternoon, walk into a Lahore office.
  • An embassy has given you an approved panel. Some embassies in Islamabad and consulates in Lahore maintain their own list of accepted translation offices. If you have been handed such a list, use it — nothing we produce substitutes for a panel requirement.
  • You need a sworn translator for Germany, France or Spain. No one in Pakistan can provide that, us included. Those countries appoint translators through their own courts.

If none of those apply, remote is straightforward.

What Lahore clients send us most

Send a whole file together rather than document by document. It costs less, and it lets us make spellings and dates consistent across the set — which is the thing caseworkers actually cross-check.

Which level of certification your submission needs

  • Certified — a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy naming the translator and carrying verifiable contact details. What UKVI and USCIS ask for. Detail on the certified translation page.
  • Notarized — certification plus a notary confirming the signature. Commonly needed for Canadian IRCC files. See notarized translation assistance. For a Lahore client this adds a step and some days, which is worth factoring into your deadline.
  • Sworn — court-appointed in the destination country, and not available from anywhere in Pakistan.

Prices and courier

Published rates are the same for Lahore as anywhere else — there is no remote surcharge:

DocumentFrom
Simple single-page documentRs. 1,000
CNIC, passport, ID documentsRs. 1,000
Educational certificates, degreesRs. 1,500
Police character certificateRs. 1,500
Arabic to EnglishRs. 1,500
TranscriptsRs. 2,000
English to ArabicRs. 2,000
Legal documentsRs. 3,000
Nikah Nama, marriage documentsRs. 3,000

A single-page document is normally ready the next working day when it is not sent as urgent. Urgent 24-hour delivery is 1.5x to 2x standard; same-day is 2x. Read “same-day” as same-day digital if you are in Lahore — the physical copy still has to travel.

Courier is available to any Lahore address. The charge is quoted once we have checked it with the courier service, and passed on at what they charge us. Transit time is the courier’s, not ours, so we quote their estimate rather than promising a date. Full rate card here.

Attestation from Lahore

You do not need to come to Islamabad for every attestation step. HEC operates regional facilities and MOFA has run camp offices outside the capital. Board certificates are issued by your provincial board — BISE Lahore for most Lahore documents — and IBCC then attests or issues equivalence for them, which are two different bodies doing two different jobs. Confirm current locations and appointment rules with each body directly before travelling, because these arrangements change.

What does not change is sequence. The chain runs from the issuing body, through HEC or IBCC, then MOFA, then the destination embassy — and translation belongs at a specific point that depends on your destination. Where your destination accepts one, a MOFA apostille can replace the embassy leg entirely.

Read the attestation guides before commissioning anything. Attestation fees are not refundable, so doing this in the wrong order is the one mistake that genuinely costs money.

What we do not do

  • No attestation. Those steps go through HEC, IBCC, MOFA and the embassy.
  • No representation at government offices.
  • No credential evaluation. WES, ECA and similar are separate services.
  • No sworn translation.
  • No guarantee that an authority will accept a submitted document.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a translation office in Lahore?

No. Global Translation Services works from offices in Islamabad and Abbottabad and serves Lahore clients remotely, by WhatsApp with courier delivery. We state this on the page rather than imply a local presence we do not have.

Is a remotely produced translation accepted the same as a locally produced one?

Yes. Acceptance depends on the accuracy of the translation and on the Certificate of Translation Accuracy attached to it, not on the city where it was produced. The certificate carries the translator's name and signature, our company name, both office addresses and our contact details, so the receiving authority can verify us directly.

How does courier delivery to Lahore work?

Digital delivery comes first, following the quoted turnaround. Signed hard copies then go by courier to your Lahore address, with the charge quoted once we have checked it with the courier service. Transit time belongs to the courier rather than to us, so we do not make promises on their behalf.

My document is handwritten. Should I still send it remotely from Lahore?

Probably not. Handwritten, faded or damaged documents are the cases where having the physical page genuinely matters, because photographs lose exactly the detail a translator needs. For those, a translation office in Lahore is the better choice, unless you are travelling to Islamabad or Abbottabad and can bring the original to us.

Can you translate a whole visa file at once for a client in Lahore?

Yes, and it is the better approach. Send every document in a single WhatsApp thread and we quote the file as one job. It costs less than translating documents individually and it keeps names, dates and spellings consistent across the whole set, which is what caseworkers cross-check.

Is there a surcharge for being outside Islamabad?

No. Published rates are identical for Lahore clients and walk-in clients. The only additional cost is courier, where you want a physical copy delivered rather than a digital file, and that is quoted at what the courier charges us rather than marked up.
