Notarized Translation Assistance
Notarized Translation Assistance in Pakistan
Notarization is not something a translator can perform. It is an act by a notary public, and our role is to produce a translation suitable for notarization and to help coordinate that step through third-party providers. We are explicit about that boundary because it decides what you should expect from us.

Where notarization fits
Three different things get confused constantly, and the confusion is expensive:
- Certification is a signed statement from the translator that the translation is complete and accurate.
- Notarization is a notary public witnessing a signature on a document or declaration.
- Attestation is a government body, typically MOFA or an embassy, confirming a document’s authenticity.
They are not interchangeable, and ordering the wrong one usually means starting again. Some files need certification only, some need certification plus notarization, and Gulf submissions frequently need all three in a specific order.
What we do and what we do not
We translate the document, prepare it in a form suitable for notarization, and coordinate with third-party notaries or legal service providers where that is available. We do not perform notarization, we do not attest documents, and we do not represent you before MOFA or any embassy. Where a step is outside what we can do, we will say so and point you at who does it, rather than taking the order and sorting it out later.
How the process runs
Send the document and, importantly, the exact wording of the requirement you were given. We confirm what the wording calls for, quote the translation and set out the coordination arrangement separately, complete the translation, and then arrange the notarization step with a provider. Timing on that step follows the provider’s availability.
Turnaround and price
Translation is charged at the normal rate for the document type, listed on the pricing page. Notarized translation assistance is quoted on request. Because the notary’s schedule is outside our control, treat urgent delivery options as applying to the translation only.

If your checklist actually asks for a certificate of accuracy rather than a notary, see certified translation. Marriage and family documents are covered by Nikah Nama translation. Frequently Asked Questions
What does notarization actually add?
A notary public witnesses and attests a signature, confirming that the person who signed is who they claim to be. It says nothing about whether the translation is accurate, that is what certification does. Offices that ask for notarization want the identity of the signatory formally witnessed.
Do you notarize the translation yourselves?
No, and no translation agency can. Notarization is performed by a notary public. We prepare the translation and the accompanying declaration so it is in a form a notary can act on, and we can coordinate the appointment with a third-party notary or legal provider. Availability and timing depend on that provider, not on us.
Do I need notarization, certification, or both?
Read your checklist literally. Certified means a signed statement of accuracy from the translator. Notarized means a notary witnessed a signature. Attested means a government body such as MOFA verified the document. Some submissions want two of the three. If the wording is ambiguous, forward it to us and we will tell you what we read it as before you pay for anything.
How long does the notarization step take?
The translation runs to its normal schedule, and notarization adds time that depends on the notary's availability rather than on our workload. Build in extra days, and do not plan a notarized submission around a same-day translation turnaround.
What does it cost?
The translation is charged at the normal rate for the document type. Notarized translation assistance is quoted on request, because the notary's own fee is set by the provider and is not ours to fix. You will see the translation cost and the coordination arrangement separately rather than bundled into one opaque figure.
